The south african team have made australian team to struggle lots for the last coupla months. And this time, they have closed the series winning chances of australia with a stunning win of 61 runs in the forth ODI, a 3 – 1 series win. Gibbs made a very needed century for south africa which help them score a total of 317 for 6. Though the australians started well, they could only make 256. The series win has made Southafrica to strongly retain its first place in the ODI’s and pushed the australians in the third place. And the australia has to fight back well in the last ODI match to make itself settle in the second place. The last oneday match will be on april 17th,2009.
