IPL tournament, the most expected tournament in India has become an non- resident game this year. Conducting IPL in India had been dropped due to the elections issues. IPL 2009 is planned to be held in South Africa. The opening match is likely to be held in cape town on april 18. At start, there was a diplomatic state of conducting the game in england or south africa and due to clmatic and the television shareholding problems, the event is decided to be held on south africa. The indians fans seems to be very much disappointed with this.
